Description This is the best bending and metal forming lubricant available for draw bending, mandrel bending, and cold forming operations such as dimple dies or our 180-degree gusset press brake. It applies easily with a brush, gloved hand, or large-diameter syringe. Safe to use and weld-through friendly, it leaves no residue that interferes with painting or welding (though we still recommend cleanup). Sizes & Usage It is available in 4 oz, 8 oz, 16 oz, 32 oz (quart), and 1-gallon containers. 4-oz and 8-oz jars fit perfectly in RogueFab Elite Bender cart drawers. 16 oz lasts a long time when manually applied. We recommend starting with at least a quart (32 oz) for mandrel attachment use. A little goes a long way. Product NotesThis lubricant may separate slightly (like sour cream), but please don’t put it in your fridge, especially if you drink heavily on the weekends. If separated, you can shake the container, which restores the product’s homogeneity. Why Bend All 004? Nearly zero reactivity with bronze, making it safe for mandrel components. Minimal oxidation on raw steels (rust is practically non-existent). Excellent shelf life and stability, even when left open. It can be mixed with vegetable oil, though this may affect weld cleanliness. Tested against many other lubricants, Bend All 004 outperformed in tarnishing, buildup, and clogging resistance. Very low odor, comfortable on bare hands, and leaves no sticky or unpleasant residue.
